Coming Soon: Time Killers – a PocketQuest 2026 game

Late Gaming Announces Time Killers for PocketQuest 2026

Late Gaming is pleased to announce Time Killers, a compact tabletop roleplaying game created for PocketQuest 2026 and powered by the AME engine.

The idea began, fittingly, as a dark little joke about “doing something to kill some time.” From there, it became a sharp, strange game about temporal agents, historical deaths, and the terrible work of keeping history on course.

In Time Killers, players take the role of agents sent through history to ensure that certain deaths happen exactly as recorded. These missions are not presented as righteous, heroic, or clean. They are necessary, or at least that is what the Continuity Executive insists. If the agents fail, the world may continue. Their own existence may not.

Using the flexible AME engine, Time Killers focuses on quick resolution, hard choices, dangerous complications, and the tension between personal morality and temporal duty. It is designed for fast play, compact sessions, and moments where a single decision can echo across centuries.

After all, everyone has to kill time somehow.
