I think weather is one thing that is frequently understated in roleplaying games. Which is a shame when you consider that all the media that feed into the RPG use it a lot (e.g. movies, books, comic books, etc.).
Superhero RPGs tend to be the exception. Try flying in that!

I violently agree. I’ve previously written about the cold on Story-Games (see Permafrost)
Nature is the enemy!
